At 4 Nails Construction, our process starts with a detailed meeting to listen, discuss and ask specific question to get a clear idea of your needs, dreams and budget of the project. Our goal is to listen intently to your ideas so we can successfully turn your ideas into reality. Clear and open communication is key to the success of your project.

At the initial project meeting you can bring your drawings from your architect, draftsman or your personal drawings on a piece of paper for us to go over. There is no need to worry if you don’t have professional drawings. We have an architect and draftsman on our team to draw your plans for you.

4 Nails Construction believes it is important to create a budget and to stay on budget. You can be prepared with a loan pre-approval from your lender or we have multiple qualified local lenders to help you with the loan process. Many projects do not require bank financing so, we offer payment options for you.

At this time we need to discuss where you plan on building your new home. You may have already purchased your land for your dream home. But if you are currently looking for land we have a group of realtors on our team to assist in finding you the perfect building site.

If you are considering a custom remodel, 4 Nails Construction will visit your Idaho residence to go over your unique ideas, goals, and budget for your prospective project. We will spend much of our time asking specific questions to get a clear idea of exactly what you want your desired living space to look and feel like.

Our next step after we have established your desires for your project is to go on a tour of our homes to see our quality craftsmanship. This is a time to ask questions and get ideas of what will fit into your custom project.

Now, after we have established exactly what you desire for your home or custom remodel, it is time to get your project drawn from our experienced architect or draftsman. After the drawings are complete and you approve of the project it is time to select your interior and exterior finishes. 4 Nails Construction will work on a manageable time line and offer plenty of support during the selection process. When working with other custom home builders, this part of the process can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to help make this project as stress free as possible. We have many local suppliers who we have worked with us for over 10 years to help you. We also have an experienced, talented designer on our team to help you make the best choices for your home. Again communication is key to having the finished project that you desire and lasting relationship. Please do not hesitate during any phase of the process to ask questions, call, text or e-mail Mike.

As, your home builder, Mike will apply for all of the necessary permits for your project. Once we have the appropriate permits the construction will start. This is when you will see your project take shape. You will see your new, desired space become a reality.

In the construction process you can be as involved as you would like to be. In every aspect of the project we have the highest quality experienced, licensed contractors working on your project. With years of experience building in North Idaho we have established a superior group of sub-contractors and suppliers who consistently provide superior service. All of the subcontractors that we work with are skilled, dependable, trust worthy professionals.

We work hard at making sure that your project is completed on budget and on a manageable time line. We also want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied with your finished project. Our goal at the end of every project is to leave quality craftsmanship, a satisfied client and a lasting friendship.
